Leonardo Lacerda is the Founder & Managing Director of Sínora Insights. Leading the business, Leonardo is in charge of operations, formulation and execution of strategies, interacting with clients, the team and other stakeholders.

His career spans more than 25 years, with a wealth of experience in business transformations focusing on supply chain consulting services, dedicated to making a difference for clients with tangible results for a wide spectrum of industries.

Prior to founding Sínora Insights, Leonardo helped launch the Ernst & Young supply chain service line in Brazil, overseeing Logistics from 2010 to 2017. During this period, as a partner, he built the company´s operations consulting market to its current level of standing in Brazil, having considerably expanded its traditional service portfolio.

In 2005 he founded Sargas, a consulting firm specialized in logistics and supply chain, focused on the application of advanced analytics to supply chain problems such as computer simulation, optimization and advanced statistics. Sargas, with industry leaders in its client portfolio, was sold to Ernst & Young in 2010.

In 1992, Leonardo founded CEL / COPPEAD, a pioneer group in logistics and supply chain in Brazil focused on education, research and consulting—a known reference in the Brazilian supply chain community.

Leonardo holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a M.Sc. in Operations Research from COPPE Institute, UFRJ.
